Autism Spectrum Treatment and Research (ASTAR) Center is a non-profit organization established to address the overwhelming need for clinical research, accurate diagnoses and appropriate treatments for those living with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). For Northwest families wrestling with the challenges of Autism Spectrum Disorders and a lack of available services, ASTAR’s coordinated approach integrates the disciplines necessary to treat the whole child.

Utah Children with Special Health Care Needs (CSHCN) is a part of the Utah Department of Health, Division of Community and Family Health Services. We oversee 10 diverse programs for children throughout the state. Each is unique in its services for children with special health care needs.

The largest medical facility in the region, Eastern Idaho Rehabilitation Medical Center (EIRMC) is a modern JCAHO- accredidted, full-service hospital. EIRMC serves as the region'a healthcare hub, offering specialty services.

Matheny Medical and Educational Center is a special hospital and educational facility for children and adults with medically complex developmental disabilities.
