THE CENTER for Enriched Living is a non-residential, social enrichment and skill-development center dedicated to serving people with developmental disabilities or special needs, primarily mild to moderate mental retardation. CCARC, Inc. offers services for individuals with mental retardation and a spectrum of other disabilities, including blindness, hearing impairment, aphasia and autism.As a private, not-for-profit agency, CCARC, Inc. has a unique mission - to make dreams happen for persons with developmental disabilities. Champaign-Urbana Special Recreation (CUSR) was formed through a cooperative agreement with the Champaign and Urbana Park Districts to provide recreation programs and leisure services for residents with disabilities. Inclusion and specialized programs are available. We provide quality recreation programs for people with disabilities by hiring and training qualified staff, providing staff ratios which ensure program safety and success, and adapting programs and equipment to meet the needs of the participants.

We create opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities to gain competency, develop relationships and join the community with increasing command over their own lives. We are a non-profit corporation serving more than 180 adults from the San Francisco Bay Area.

The Cooperative Wilderness Handicapped Outdoor Group (CW HOG), a regional self-help group, was established in 1981 to provide recreational opportunities for people of all abilities. The program is a department of Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho.

Creative Work Systems seeks to enable persons with cognitive, physical and psychiatric handicaps to increase or regain self-sufficiency through employment, independent living support, and personal skills development and social/interpersonal opportunities.

The Delaware Association for the Blind is a private non-profit 501 ( c ) ( 3 ) agency serving legally blind and severely visually impaired adults and children in Delaware. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for those we serve through a variety of education, counseling and recreation programs. We also operate a store at 800 West Street in Wilmington offering a large variety of items that make life easier for someone with impaired vision. Our programs are primarily funded through private contributions.

Freedom's Wings International (FWI) is a non-profit organization run by and for people with physical disabilities. We provide the opportunity for those who are physically challenged to fly in specially adapted sailplanes, either as a passenger or as a member of the flight training program.

Fox Valley Special Recreation Association provides Athletic and Special Olympic opportunities throughout the year in a variety of sports which include: Basketball, Volleyball, Swimming, Softball, Soccer, Bocce, Tennis, Golf, Gymnastics, Track and Field, Powerlifting, and Bowling.

Gateway Arts is a magical place filled with colorful crafts, contemplative and whimsical paintings and over 95 talented artists with disabilities learning a vocation while realizing their dreams. This unique, non-profit service includes the Studio Program, The Gateway Crafts Store, and The Gateway Gallery.

AIM helps mentally challenged, visually impaired, hearing impaired, physically handicapped, attention deficit disorder (ADD), attention deficit hyperactive disorder (ADHD), learning disabilities, severe behavior disorder (SBD), severe behavior handicap (SBH), autism, the geriatric population, and other children and adults with special needs reach their highest potential through the AIM method. There is never a charge to handicapped children or their parents for our service, and no child is ever turned away. All funds are derived through donations from individuals, foundations, businesses, corporations, organizations, memberships, and fund raising events.

The League of Dreams provides all individuals, regardless of their physical or mental capacities, the opportunity to experience the joy, challenges, and personal growth of playing the All-American games of baseball and softball.

The National Ability Center is committed to the development of lifetime skills for people of all ages and abilities by providing affordable outdoor sports and recreational experiences in a nurturing environment.

The National Disability Sports Alliance (NDSA) is the National Coordinating Body for competitive sports for individuals with cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injuries and survivors of stroke.
