Central Connecticut Association for Retarted Citizens Inc.
CCARC, Inc. offers services for individuals with mental retardation and a spectrum of other disabilities, including blindness, hearing impairment, aphasia and autism.As a private, not-for-profit agency, CCARC, Inc. has a unique mission - to make dreams happen for persons with developmental disabilities.
Through residential and supported living arrangements, employment, vocational training, recreation, clinical servies, advocacy and intervention CCARC, Inc. (Central Connecticut Association for Retarded Citizens) has improved the lives of countless indiviuals and their families, and enhanced the community's understanding about individuals with mental retardation.
Champaign-Urbana Special Recreation

Champaign-Urbana Special Recreation (CUSR) was formed through a cooperative agreement with the Champaign and Urbana Park Districts to provide recreation programs and leisure services for residents with disabilities. Inclusion and specialized programs are available. We provide quality recreation programs for people with disabilities by hiring and training qualified staff, providing staff ratios which ensure program safety and success, and adapting programs and equipment to meet the needs of the participants.
Clausen House

The Cooperative Wilderness Handicapped Outdoor Group (CW HOG), a regional self-help group, was established in 1981 to provide recreational opportunities for people of all abilities. The program is a department of Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho.

From 24-hour supervision to Intermittent Community Integrated Living Arrangements, Cornerstone encourages choice and independence in its residential alternative services.Cornerstone's employment services program works with individuals to find and retain jobs in their own communities. Field trips combined with classroom training help individuals develop the skills necessary to lead an active life in the community. Cornerstone's nationally-recognized behavioral health services provide many options for individuals with mental health issues, including outpatient counseling, psychosocial rehabilitation, and community housing.

Delaware Association for the Blind

Flying- Freedoms Wings International
Freedom's Wings International (FWI) is a non-profit organization run by and for people with physical disabilities. We provide the opportunity for those who are physically challenged to fly in specially adapted sailplanes, either as a passenger or as a member of the flight training program.

General Sport- (AIM) Adventures in

AIM helps mentally challenged, visually impaired, hearing impaired, physically handicapped, attention deficit disorder (ADD), attention deficit hyperactive disorder (ADHD), learning disabilities, severe behavior disorder (SBD), severe behavior handicap (SBH), autism, the geriatric population, and other children and adults with special needs reach their highest potential through the AIM method. There is never a charge to handicapped children or their parents for our service, and no child is ever turned away. All funds are derived through donations from individuals, foundations, businesses, corporations, organizations, memberships, and fund raising events.
