Colorado Spina Bifida Association

The SBAC was primarily formed as a support group for Colorado parents, family, and friends of children with Spina Bifida. Over the years, our organization has grown and expanded to include many adults with Spina Bifida as well. Assistance and information is also provided to people from Kansas, Nebraska, and Wyoming when they come to The Children's Hospital of Denver for clinics and treatment.

Depresson is real, but so is hope. The Depression Is Real Coalition is a group of physician, patient and constituency groups that has come together to create an educational campaign about depression. These groups are concerned about confusing messages in popular culture suggesting that depression is "just the blues" or worse, a "made-up disease." The goal of the Coalition is to help people living with depression, their families, friends and the general public to understand these essential facts about depression.

A parent support group will provide needed emotional support and valuable feedback and information from other parents. Family Resource Associates, Inc.
Family Resource Associates (FRA) is a New Jersey non-profit agency located in Shrewsbury, NJ. FRA assists individuals of all ages who have developmental delays or disabilities. FRA provides home-based early intervention for infants, therapeutic recreation programs and assistive technology services (through TECHConnection), along with family and sibling support groups. TECHConnection @ FRA offers programs and services that can make using the computer easier for people of all abilities and ages.

Family Ties of Massachusetts
Family TIES of Massachusetts is a statewide information and parent-to-parent support project for families of children with special needs and chronic illness. It is administered by parent coordinators housed in each of the regional offices of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.
