FRCD was organized in 1969 by parents, professionals, and volunteers who sought to improve services for all children with disabilities.

Great Lakes ADA Center provides information, materials, technical assistance and training on the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA).encourages incorporation of accessible information technology in K-12 and post secondary school settings.
