    Inspiration Ministries is a resident community for physically challenged adults. It is located on 155 acres near Lake Geneva outside the community of Walworth, Wisconsin. With a resident building, four resident apartment buildings, a resale and coffee shop, retreat center, camping sites and trails, swimming pool, workshop and about 50 caring staff members, residents enjoy a warm, home-like community where people with disabilities are encouraged and enabled to enjoy maximum fulfillment of their lives.

    We are a not-for-profit day program serving adults w/developmental disabilities in our seniors, developmental rehabilitation, vocational skills training I & II & work center programs. Individuals in these programs must have a primary diagnosis of mental retardation and/or other developmental disability and must be at least 18 years of age or older as well as day program funding. We offer dance, art & OT/PT therapies for individuals along with vocational training & community integration opportunities in these programs. All vocational work is paid by the piece. We also serve individuals w/any other documented disability (i.e. mental illness, physical disability, heart conditions, etc. that may keep an individual from working in mainstream employment. We term this “external clients.” External clients, however, are only offered working opportunities in the sewing program. External clients are also paid by the piece.     Varca is a workshop for people with special needs. We also offer respite 5 days a week from 8 AM to 3 PM. Our workshop is open 5 days a week and is funded by the Department of Developmental Services DDS.
