    Celebrate Differences is committed to supporting individuals with disabilities in reaching their fullest potential by providing positive resources and information to families, communities and health care providers while promoting a competent level of awareness and understanding. More specifically we provide: Information on and referrals to local resources for children with special needs. Educational workshops and training on various topics to educate parents and professionals to better meet a child’s needs at home, in school and in the community. Networking opportunities through support groups, events, workshops and training. Resource library of books and videos on various special needs topics. SPARK – Special Parents Alliance for Resources and Knowledge, an educational parent group that meets monthly. Scholarships to individuals with a disability and to siblings and or peers studying in a specified area.

    Parents Educating Arkansas about Children with Epilepsy (PEACE) is a free support group for parents and a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. OUR MISSION …is to coordinate education and reach out to the people of Arkansas and America about children who have epilepsy and other forms of seizure disorders. OUR GOAL …is to supply resources and provide support necessary to bring peace and comfort to parents who are dealing with the daily reality of seeing their child grow up with epilepsy. OUR PHILOSOPHY …is to change the reality that is epilepsy today and help children and families overcome the stigma attached by bringing resources and support to Arkansans and America. OUR MOTTO …working together to bring PEACE to Arkansas and America’s communities. NEW CHAPTER!!! PEACE has started a new chapter in Northwest Arkansas.   • Spina Bifida Association of Arizona

    The Spina Bifida Assoc of Arizona serves people all over the state of Arizona. We provide programs such a Support Groups, Housing, Urinary Care Supplies, Lunch as Clinic, Holiday Parties, free bike events, welcome baby packets and soon to come a sleep over summer camp. SBAAZ’s mission is to promote the prevention of spina bifida abd enhance the lives of all affected. We do this through such programs as FSACT (Folic Acid and Spina Bifida Awarness Culinary Training), housing, free hand cycle events, support group, Welcome Baby program, Holiday Party, and so many more. Soon to come will be a sleep over Camp to open in 2011 for those with spina bifida in Arizona.
