Description: As professionals with clients with family members with a disability this workshop will offer you the knowledge needed to provide your families with the right information to help them plan for their future using our Eight Step Future Care Plan.
Some topics of discussion include creating a care plan for your loved one with a disability; how to create a map of the future; how to prepare legally and financially; how to incorporate and maximize government benefits; how to prepare for transition; and how to communicate with your client.
Additionally, we will discuss the ABLE Act, which amends section 529 of the IRS Code and allows for tax-free savings and investment accounts for individuals with disabilities.
