The purpose of the Autism Outreach Project is to develop a state-wide system in which identification, program development, placement, and staff development activities are coordinated to appropriately serve school districts, parents, agencies, and students with autism spectrum disorders throughout the state of Washington, in order to improve the educational outcomes of these students.
