Continuing the Mission of Jesus, the Diocesan Camping Programs provide inclusive camping opportunities tailored to the unique needs of each individual and family. We work in collaboration with each other and the community to provide a learning experience that is Christ centered, safe, accredited, fun and ecologically sound. Our programs embrace the values of respect for the dignity of each person, stewardship and commitment to the Church and the community. Camp Happiness provides summer day camp experiences to children and young adults ages 6-21 with cognitive and other developmental disabilities. We offer four different camp sites in the greater Cleveland area. Each camp site provides and enhances social, spiritual, recreational and educational opportunities. They enjoy arts & crafts, swimming and field trips each week. Camp Happiness is operated by Disability Services, a part of Catholic Charities Health and Human Services. Campers at this site are able to enjoy time and share activities with the CYO campers just down the hill!
