As a 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization, SNTCA is dedicated to creating legislation to allow a federal “refundable tax credit” of up to $5,000, to reimburse low and moderate income families for the legal expenses of establishing Guardianship for an individual with disabilities, dementia or Alzheimer’s, or any other physical or cognitive condition requiring a legal guardian. We have worked with former US Congressman Robert Wexler (Florida- 19th District) and current Congressman Ted Deutch (Florida- 19th District) , and hope to introduce a Bill before Congress in the 2010-2011 legislative session.
