CCARC, Inc. offers services for individuals with mental retardation and a spectrum of other disabilities, including blindness, hearing impairment, aphasia and autism. As a private, not-for-profit agency, CCARC, Inc. has a unique mission – to make dreams happen for persons with developmental disabilities. Through residential and supported living arrangements, employment, vocational training, recreation, clinical services, advocacy and intervention CCARC, Inc. (Central Connecticut Association for Retarded Citizens) has improved the lives of countless individuals and their families, and enhanced the community’s understanding about individuals with mental retardation.
