Commonwealth Community Trust (CCT) is a national nonprofit organization that administers affordable and efficient self-funded and third-party pooled special needs trusts (SNT) for people with disabilities. There is no minimum amount required to fund the trust and CCT’s knowledgeable staff understands the rules governing trusts for clients receiving Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Medicaid in order to preserve benefits. Founded in 1990, CCT’s central mission is to educate people with disabilities, their families and organizations that serve the special needs community about the importance of future planning and how the use of an SNT can help to enrich the quality of life for a person living with a disability.
