Intensive Therapeutics INC.
http://intensivetherapeutics.org/programs/camp-helping-hands/
Camp Helping Hands uses carefully designed activities to drive therapeutic gains. For parents who choose to combine disciplines, activities specifically designed to integrate 1, 2 or 3 therapy services will be built in to the camp day. The exciting part of this unique integration of OT, PT and speech goals within a single activity allows a child a full-body, “real world” experience. For example, if balloon volleyball is the camp activity, OT, PT and speech goals can all be met through the strategic emphasis and sequencing of jumping, running, hitting a balloon back and forth, as well as verbal communication with peers. Therapists will seamlessly collaborate to create these ideal therapeutic scenarios and help maximize each moment of the camp day.

SNACK (Special Needs Activity Center for Kids)
http://snacknyc.com
SNACK, the Special Needs Activity Center for Kids, is the creation of New York mom and SNACK’s Executive Director, Jackie Ceonzo. After being unable to find a fulfilling program for her son, Joey, whose disabilities fall on the autism spectrum, she worked with a team of professionals to create a place for special needs children with challenging behaviors to socialize and enjoy recreational activities while learning practical skills in a collaborative, fun and welcoming environment. The mission of SNACK, a 501c3 not-for-profit organization, is to fill a void in the lives of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other similar developmental and behavioral disabilities by providing after-school and weekend recreational programs designed and staffed to address their needs. Our mission is accomplished by establishing activity centers that offer a variety of group and individual activities to provide these children with the help they need to thrive – the opportunity to make friends, improve skill levels, build confidence, participate in activities that typical kids do everyday and have some fun. SNACK programs, geared toward children ages 3-18 with special needs, are designed and staffed to address challenging behavioral issues, increase skill levels and promote improved social interaction.A variety of group and individual activities are offered including: art, music, movement, yoga, game time, soccer, sports and swimming, that run across six days of the week, in three locations. Vacation time programs provide a continuum of services that spans 42 weeks per year. Additionally, parent education and community outings provide further socialization opportunities to the children and their families.

Special Kids
http://specialkidstn.com
Camp Ability of Special Kids is a Christian, summer day camp for children with special needs ages 6-25. Camp is designed to allow children with special needs to participate in an interactive, social, and just plain fun environment during the months of June and July each year. Our counselors focus on children’s abilities rather than disabilities and find ways for all of our campers to participate in activities. Camp Ability is held at North Boulevard Church of Christ in Murfreesboro, TN, and is broken into two sessions- one in June and one in July. Campers are able to attend one or both sessions depending on a family’s need. To make activities fun for everyone, campers are divided into groups of about 8-12 campers based on age groups. At Camp Ability, our children’s safety comes first, so we have one lead counselor and two or more support counselors in each group (giving us a ratio of one counselor to every three campers). A nurse is also on site at all times, and volunteers participate in camper groups when needed with more involved activities.
