For 25 years, Housing Options has been providing life-saving mental health services and permanent, supportive housing to individuals with mental illnesses. Our person-centered approach helps individuals by offering them sustainable housing opportunities and support services that are interwoven to give Participants the maximum chance of recovering. Housing Options provides a partial subsidy that allows qualified individuals to access our fully furnished housing and mental health services for apartment buildings owned or leased by the agency. Our housing is located throughout Evanston. Everyone served by Housing Options must have a severe and persistent mental illness – typically schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or chronic major depression.
